Hey!! that (Your Saturdays at FDL) could describe my kids to a T— they went to Arrowhead school, ran the newspaper shack across from the Speed-e-mart and spent hours in the woods. I had a loud sport whistle I blew 3 times when it was time to come home. Was that your area?

One more– sorry about Patrick and your broken heart!
Do i recall that there was a companion cereal to Quisp named Quake?

Nanz, I grew up in Mountlake Terrace, WA. Where might you all be from?
I’ll bet my mom would have loved to have that whistle! Then again, even if she was shy and quiet, I could hear her calling me even when I was in the woods!
There was a cereal called Quake. I’m not sure why I never ate it. I really liked Quisp.
In any case, it was fun, wasn’t it? Thanks for stopping by!

I implore every self respecting woman to BOYCOTT Telaflora.com!!!!
These misogynist morons think demeaning women on national television during the Super Bowl is a perfect marketing plan. The ad clearly demonstrates this company’s deep seated hatred of women. Tell everyone in your life to also boycott teleflora.com!

Strategerie,
Just thought I’d let you know the link to this site from Seahawk Addicts is broken. Of course they seem to be having several issues with that site right now re: functionality, but thought you’d like to know. I used to like to bop over here every now and then from there. BTW, you should post there more often!

whoever you are and for whatever reason you do this… you’re amazing. I’ve been looking through random blogs only to find a bunch of self-absorbed online journals. You’ve chosen to use this as a tool. I have as well. Feel free to visit http://www.timetowakeup.wordpress.com and let me know what you think. Thank you.

Hi,I find the entire situation sad. Of course like everyone else I was appalled but I am not like everyone else. I am tired of the entire world passing judgment and acting surprised by this particular officers behavior. It occurred in Texas, the same place where Jerry Jones calls out his black players, fires Terrell Owens but his white players are “untouchables”. I don’t care about that the point is real compassion the kind Jesus Christ had is dead!!! Or is it? No it isn’t as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses I pray for everyone involved and as for Mr. Powell I suggest you find a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses so that you can see the real imitation of Jesus Christ in action. In the Kingdom Hall you WILL FIND someone perfectly happy to study the bible with you. There you will find why such deep seeded hatred is alive and well in the 21st Century but more importantly you Mr. Powell will find the True God and His real servants.

Please drop me an email so I can talk directly to you. Sometime back in 2007 I believe you wrote an article invoking the name of Lt now Capt Clive Jeffs. I was married to his sister but now divorced. She is still quite healthy and lives in Idaho. If you still have the braclett or know of others then she might like to know that others besides herself remember Garth. Garth was her own personal hero and I know she misses him till this day. Thanks and looking for your email.
